Now they're straight up taunting fans calling this one a tour. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, this album is an absolute mess. I had to do some googling, because I remember peter having the CD and being a bit confused by the tracklisting. So here's the deal: Magical Mystery Tour proper is the first half of the album, and then the second half is really more a compilation of non-album singles. But the first half... sucks. It's just gobbledygook over more circus music. The second half is all the songs I'd actually want to hear. This makes the full listening experience (for me) better than Sgt. Pepper... but it feels like a cheat if it's only because of singles that weren't even intended for this album.
