Here’s one Debbie wanted to check out, because she enjoyed $5 Subtweet and wanted to hear the rest of the album. Spotify says the song is the most popular from that album, and I was surprised that it’s not entirely indicative of the album as a whole. Yes, it’s mathy emo through and through, but I was expecting more wacky parts, and the moody bits to be less often. I’m curious how/if the ones song’s success affected the songwriting on the next album, which seems to have overall done better. Maybe I’ll check it out to find out.
