What a funky lil EP. Not funk in the genre sense. Just some really weird chord/rhythm decisions while keeping a melodic through line. Possibly the most “different” a band could be while still being not far from something I would listen to on the regular. What’s keeping this from being a new favorite of mine? Is it just the DIY production not selling it to me? Is my body rejecting change? Maybe it’s just the day.
