The same day this was suggested to me, I was also suggested vaguely to listen to Caifunes (I may choose an album of theirs at some point.) They were described to me as “Mexican The Cure”, but from the couple of songs I heard, I barely saw the connection. Then I listened to Blind, and… honestly this had more Cure relation than that which I found silly since I wouldn’t otherwise lump them together. Overall this is a very pleasant album. I don’t know who let them get away with Life & Soul though. I nearly skipped that one.
