I’ll be honest, I’ve never been a fan of Metallica. In fact, in a lot of ways I really dislike them. That also means I don’t super KNOW Metallica like that. But I think Chained Saint really likes them. A lot of these songs sound like what I’d imagine Metallica sounds like with a better drummer. They’re definitely talented, and they know what they’re doing, but it’s definitely not a vibe that was going to work for me. Also, the snare in Animosity was about to give me a headache, so I’m glad the rest of the songs don’t have those same overbearing overtones.
