This band loves that one note in the chord. Apologies for my lack of music theory education here. I think it’s the 7th. The one that sounds like bwoeow. There’s a lot of that on this record. It’s cool, they find some creative ways to use it.
But also, dang yall, what happened to the master? I gotta pump this album way up to hear it.
Elderly Punk is a great song and one that I do not relate to in the slightest and never will. I didn’t feel anything listening to it. Definitely a highlight, and I love how the best melody is used very sparingly in the song and then comes around a few times right at the end. Props.
